Banpur NAC promised the urban poor to provide sanitary service, Water supply, streetlight facilities, road and drain. This Municipality tries to make this town clean and healthy. This town has acute shortage of drinking water during summer; it has taken steps on providing water through water tank to avoid the water scarcity, repair the outdated tube wells, digging deep bore well, laying pipe lines in different wards to provide drinking water. For better communication this NAC has constructed Cement Concrete Road, Bitumen Roads under various Road Development Grants. The Government has taken various steps for effective service delivery, poverty reduction program and Infrastructure Development through Public-Private Partnership.
